According to recent news, the Snapchat source code was compromised by middle eastern hackers, and was published on GitHub. The source code was shortly received a dmca copyright take down as a result of, well, maybe it being protected by international copyright laws. The suspect hasn’t been caught yet, but we’ll keep this article updated as more unfolds.
But the question many seem to have is why should you care? Well, let me tell you something, by snapchat’s application source code out there, somewhere in the internet, there’s a high chance a group of hackers could find security vulnerabilities which can put both you, and your snapchat account in danger, not to mention your personal info.
I know this is a little out of the blue, specially for a gardening website, but I feel this is a story which I know a lot of people will care to know about.
